After hearing him give a talk, I got hooked on his books, just completing Marked Man, the 32nd in the series and the best yet. I have read the whole Joe Gunther series and I wait for each new one to come out but this one was off the charts. This was a mystery readers perfect book. It has everything you expect and much more. It was really two story lines in one, which didn't tie together until the last couple of chapters. I thought it made the reading confusing, and really slow going at times. I felt the main story line was rather unbelievable, and there were so many characters, I ended up making a list of who was who so I could keep them all straight. It will be aong wait until the next one. I may have to start all over. Us old folks aren't able to remember as well as we could so they will all be new to me. Thank you, Archer.
